Sound Division kits out Quadruples
Sound Division has recently installed a compact but efficient background music system into the newly opened Quadruples café bar and eatery in Finchley, North London.
According to Sound Division's David Graham, the brief was straightforward. "The client was looking for a high quality background music system but he was working within a very tight budget. Nevertheless he definitely wanted something professional rather than an off-the-shelf consumer system from a high street retailer. He doesn't have a large area to cover, so we supplied a system comprising a total of six JBL Control 23 compact loudspeakers, a Pioneer PD-M603 6-disc multi-play CD player and a Harman Kardon HK3480 amplifier with an integral FM receiver that met his needs perfectly. To help keep within budget, the client arranged for all the cabling and mounting of the speaker brackets himself, so we simply installed the hardware, connected up the system and tested it. In fact, this is an excellent option for clients working to a tight budget on small background music systems. The installation took us just half a day from start to finish with minimum disruption for the restaurant's clientele, and the client is delighted."
Quadruples' Chandra Vekaria agrees. "It's only a small system with a budget to match, but Sound Division approached the job with the same professionalism as they would any other of their more complex, and doubtless more prestigious contracts. The installation is clean, neat and sounds great. It's refreshing to work with a company who has the same respect for all of their clients, large or small."
