Havana Got News For You!
In an interesting coincidence,The Sound Division Group were recently asked to specify and install entire sound systems for two similar theme venues in succession, Latino bar Barrio North and Tortilla, both located by Islington Angel and both offering their own taste of Latin American culture.
Focusing on the latter, Tortilla is a recently opened, high street café brand offering South American savouries and snacks.
Tortilla proprietor, Brandon Stephens was looking for a compact, high quality mid range, background music system that would sit comfortably within the small public seating area.
Following a strong recommendation by the architects, with whom Sound Division had worked with on previous sound system installations at Carbon, Marble Arch and Roka in Charlotte Street, Brandon made the telephone call.
Assessing the requirement, Sound Division specified 4 x JBL Control 25 wall mounted loudspeakers driven by the Cloud 3650 zoning amplifier. Additional EQ is provided by dbx215, a dual 15 band equalizer which gives versatile sound level control.
Brandon was particularly impressed, "The speakers are exactly what I wanted. I had been given a solid recommendation to speak with The Sound Division Group and I am very pleased with the overall service. The installation was on time and they were very helpful and thorough".
